I started Thursday with a sculpture of St Fransis for the chapel of Ca'Palazzo for Margreet and Wijnand. I continued working on it, but now outside at the pool together with Eline.

The last day at Ca'Palazzo
I started Thursday with a sculpture of St Fransis for the chapel of Ca'Palazzo for Margreet and Wijnand. I continued working on it, but now outside at the pool together with Eline.

Corinaldo
Thursday July 11th Stan and I went to Corinaldo.
Kyran stayed with the other kids at Ca'Palazzo where they played at the pool.
In the evening we had dinner at 'Agri Campagna', this is a place where two sisters run a restaurant. Everything is made of their own farm, meat and vegatables. It's all handmade and delicious.
The first time we went to this place we drove past it twice, just because they don't have any sign saying the name of the restaurant. It's known within the circle of friends and family.

The last several days
Since the kids had so much fun together we stayed most of the days at Ca'Palazzo. For sure this wasn't a punishment since we all got along so well.
On Wednesday afternoon the kids prepared pizza dough, bread and appetizers with Wijnand for the evening. Meanwhile the adults relaxed at the pool.
We started with the appetizers around 7.30 pm and after that each of us made their own pizza. We had a lot of fun doing this and enjoyed a nice evening.

To busy having fun
As the title of this message already refers as "to busy having fun" also meaning no time to write on the blog anymore. I will post pictures so you can at least see what we see and how we are doing.
Mainly because Saturday four families arrived at Ca'Palazzo. Wynand, one of the owners and the cook, prepared a very nice meal for all of us. This was also a very nice way to meet each other.
The kids were sitting at one table and the adults at another table.
Sunday July 7th we all spend time at the swimming pool. The kids all played together. We read, sun bathed, slept, swam and relaxed. It was very nie weather, so what more could we ask for?

Today July 6th & yesterday July 5th!
What is very nice to share with you is that since Thursday evening the owners of Ca'Palazzo, Wijnand & Margreet, got Luko the dog of friends of theirs over to stay until monday. Luko is called a truffle dog, because he can find truffles. Margreet & Wijnand have their own dog, Bella and two cats, Dino and Olijfje.
Some of you reading this will maybe already know that Kyran really really wants to have a dog. At first I was very against it and slowly I am even getting into it too. But Stan absolutely not!!! So that's been said.
In Stan's former office in the Parsippany, NJ, United States office his collegues have been and still are persuading him to get a dog. It's been already to that point that Stan got with his farewell a starter kit for Dog owners and he got a T-shirt with the following text; Uncle Stan and a picture of Winnie, Karen King's dog (our friend).
OK knowing this and the fact Luko is staying here for a few nights, Kyran took upon him to take care of Luko. Before Luko was here, he would walk together with Margreet and Bella, if we were here. So Kyran is really hooked on dogs and loves playing with her.
The first night Luko stayed with Kyran in his apartment. When one of us would sleep with him in his apartment, he would not think about opening the doors to let in some fresh air. Kyran would say: "it's te cold". How What did we do that he is so sensitive to the cold! Anyway when it was told to him that it would be better for the dog that he opens the doors at night he would immediately do so. So we know where we stand. hahahahahaha. Is this just us??
Well Kyran didn't sleep to well as Luko would jump on his bed every time he would get the chance. So the sleeping over was not such a succes, but we'll see if he would wanrt to try it again.
I did start exercise some songs from my Jazzercise sets while I started cooking and preparing a Bolognese sauce and the pizza dough for dinner.
The rest of the day was just in and out of the pool and preparing food. At some point Stan and I went into Cagli, a small town 15 minutes away from us.
