The first day we went on a 'hop on hop off' bus tour. So we could have an overview of the city.We jumped off at the Colosseum and entered it. Incredible the way this beautiful building was built.
It was very educational for the three of us to learn what and how and who were part of this impressive era in time. A good example of how cruel people can be. Willing to give up their lives for Lions, Leopards and other dangerous anumals.
Furthermore we visited places like the St. Pieters church, the Trevi fountain, to many people ugh!, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Venezia, Foro Romano. We only had two days to admire this beautiful and busy city. But worth visiting.
